Some love him and the job he’s doing for the league and some, well, some just don’t like him. Goodell himself thinks he’s doing a fantastic job. In fact, Goodell thinks his performance over the last few years warrants a contract extension that will pay him $50 million per year as well provide him with the use of a private jet for life and lifetime health insurance for him and his family.
I guess Goodell must feel that the dramas that resulted from his mismanagement of big issues such as Deflate Gate and Ray Rice are no big deal because, well, up until this season, the league has been thriving.
What do you think?
Does Goodell deserve such a lucrative contract? Or should the league owners take Jerry Jones’ desires seriously and implement “checks and balances.”
