I’ll start by saying that I thought the second episode of Tom vs. Time was much better than the first episode. It gave a more natural look at what it’s like to be Tom Brady. Specifically, what it takes physically, mentally, and emotionally. Episode two showed the intense training he puts himself through with his passing coach as well as the intense film study he does before and after every game/season. It really got emotional when they showed Brady watching film from his Super Bowl loss to the Giants as well as at his first ever Super Bowl win. When asked why he subjects himself to watching so much film, especially the losses, “still a lot to learn.”
Eighteen seasons and he is still dedicated to learning.
This is why Tom Brady is the GOAT.
A few other interesting moments:
For those who saw that sideline fight between Brady and OC Josh McDaniels, I found Brady’s comments on their relationship to be interesting:
“He wants to kill me sometimes and believe me, I want to kill him sometimes. But I think we have a great deal of trust, respect, and love for each other…”
No truer words, apparently!
Brady’s thoughts on the car ride home after the second loss of the season: “atrocious.”
Can’t say I disagree!
