This Celtics’ Friday, I feel like I have hit a lull here- I have nothing to say right now. Things have been boring not watching the team in action. The Celtics Dancers accounts have been boring too. I’m bored. I’m ready to watch some real basketball.
Some topics worth talking about include recent performances by Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Kyrie Irving during the All-Star Break, but if you read my last article, you know that the All-Star Break doesn’t mean much to me. There are some arguments out there that the Rising Stars game may “fuel” Jaylen Brown’s confidence, but its all just chatter to me.
I could also talk about the Celtics game tonight, their first team performance in almost 10 days, but I don’t like to predict and jinx anything, and I think that as a fan (not a writer) I just need to sit back and relax and see where the guys go with this. The C’s play tonight at Detroit against the Pistons, who are 28-29 and 9th in the Eastern Conference.
By the time we get to our Celtics Friday next week, there will be plenty to recap: their game tonight, their game tomorrow against the Knicks, Monday against the Grizzlies, and Wednesday against the Hornets.
If you have predictions, or anything to share, or you’re bored too, please feel free to leave a comment below, or find me on Twitter or Instagram, @NinaLeeCarmo.
