On the Court: The East

Why are we STILLLLL in the Semi Conference Finals?

The big question right now: Who will face off in the Conference Finals?

Raptors vs Cavs

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Toronto Raptors last night 128 to 93, sealing their victory in the series and obtaining a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. LeBron James has 29 pints, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds. Kevin Love scored a strong 23, followed by Kyle Korver with 16. J.R. Smith had 15 and George Hill had 12. Now, the team will wait until their matchup with the winner of the 76ers/Celtics.

76ers vs Celtics

Okay, so this a really annoying and can probably be proved to be some kind of NBA conspiracy theory as the Celtics were ahead 3-0 against the 76ers but lost last night. Maybe the NBA wanted to drag this out to a game 5, or maybe the Celtics purposefully sucked yesterday, but either way there WILL be a game 5 where the Celtics can hopefully pick up a 4th win and move on. The odds are all on the Celtic’s side. No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit. In all time, teams who find themselves 3-0 in a series are 0-129 in history, which means that it’s never happened. It is VERY unlikely that the 76ers will come back from a 3 loss 1 win deficit. I’ll legitimately stop watching the NBA if this happens. The 76ers’s haven’t been great on the road, so I am hopeful my viewing tomorrow will not be stressful.

Also, who else wants to punch Joel Embiid? ME!

Game 5 will be played in Boston at 8pm tomorrow, Wednesday May 8th and can be viewed on TNT.
