We’re Leveling The Playing Field!

Sports Are From Venus is for:

  • Women who don’t just host Superbowl parties, but research point spreads and third down conversion stats.
  • Men to talk sports with both men and women who want serious conversation.
  • Men and women who want to share their absolute must have game day appetizers.

In other words, Sports Are From Venus was created to provide an environment for anyone and everyone who loves sports to talk sports without judgement.

Meet Our Writers

Colleen B

A born and raised Boston sports fan (please don’t hate), Colleen lives in Boston proper with her husband of 12-years. A usability expert by day and freelance writer by night, she loathes cleaning the house and burns water.

Tom Capo

Tom Capo writes about sports, parenting, food, wine and travel; but seldom all at once. He’s currently working on his first novel and collection of shorter fiction. He lives in the Bay Area with all of his girls; wife Allison, daughter Liliana and dog Artemis.

Nina Lee

Nina is a 21 year old college student from Massachusetts studying Elementary Education and Political Science. She has always been involved in playing and analyzing sports her whole life and is an avid fantasy football and basketball player. Her favorite teams are the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics, as well as wherever Aaron Rodgers and Kelly Olynyk are playing!

Erin Walsh

Erin is studying Communications and Public Relations at Bridgewater State University. She has been a Boston sports fan her whole life and is a huge Boston Bruins fan. When not in class, you can find her writing about hockey or watching hockey. She attends many Bruins games and has a dream of attending a game at every NHL arena in the US and Canada.

Whitney Carroll McKinnon

Whitney is a freelance writer from Vermont and a New England sports fan to the core (#12 tattoo and all). When she’s not hammering away on a keyboard or ranting about Roger Goodell, she can be found cooking, obsessing over fantasy hockey, and teaching her daughters the best ways to stick it to The Man.
