Lindsey Vonn Presented Fiance P.K. Subban With an Engagement Ring of His Own
From the looks of their social media pages, it appears that Lindsey Vonn and P.K. Subban had an eventful Christmas.
The retired Olympian and New Jersey Devils defenseman got engaged back in August of this year, but they celebrated their impending nuptials in a refreshingly non-traditional way on Wednesday. Since Subban popped the question the first time, Vonn decided it was her turn. In an Instagram post featuring the cute couple posing in matching striped pajamas, the gold medalist announced that she had asked Subban to marry her while presenting him with an engagement ring of his own.
“On our 2 year anniversary I returned the favor and asked PK to marry me… and he said yes,” Vonn wrote in her post. “We talk about equality but actions speak louder than words. Men should get engagement rings too and this is what PK deserves. Can’t wait to marry you babe.”
For his part, P.K.was more than happy to show off his gorgeous new bling to his Instagram followers.
Congrats (again) to the happy couple and their adorable puppers!
Anthony Beauvillier Shoots His Celebrity Shot
Speaking of NHL players in the spotlight, New York Islander Anthony Beauvillier found himself Twitter famous after shooting his shot with Anna Kendrick in perhaps the most unoriginal way possible.

Luckily for Beauvillier, Twitter took notice of his lackluster attempt and collectively decided to play wingman.
hey man thanks for letting me use your gear during that fundraiser you held for the animal shelter to save puppies. Your cup was way too big but other than that everything worked fine. Thanks again!

The folks at @NASA called, looks like they're gonna need you to save the world from another planet-ending asteroid again. Yeah I know, it's getting old saving the world, but face it you're our only hope!
Thanks, the entire world owes you for your sacrifice!
Thanks for performing open heart surgery on me man, I appreciate it

Hey man, appreciate the save when I was getting mugged while Christmas Shopping last week. Fought off five guys, gave them a stern talking to about how they're better than this, and took us all to see Frozen 2. A real champ this one.

Beau, thank you again for saving all those kittens at that animal shelter in the Bahamas when the Hurricane hit. Still amazed that you swam to Miami with them on your back.

Former Islander Bruno Gervais even weighed in with a fond memory of his own:
Remember Beau when you saved me from a burning building, cooked me a 7 course meal and taught me 8 languages , that was a great day

Finally, on Friday afternoon, Anna finally responded:
These replies have been my entertainment for the last two days. Thank you all for regaling me with the true tales of this man’s heroism.

I, for one, stan this union.
Worth Watching
A drunk Eagles fan crashed head coach Doug Pederson’s press conference last weekend. Here’s the footage:
Some #Eagles fan snuck into Doug Pederson's press conference and Doug had to kick him out 😂#FlyEaglesFly pic.twitter.com/vhiwYXQpoe

Translation: “Doug, meeting Eli next weekend, what do you think?” The question could be worse, except for the fact that Daniel Jones will almost certainly get the start for the Giants instead of Manning.
Philly’s gonna Philly.
