Defense: Patrick Queen
Linebacker - Baltimore Ravens
Week 1 Stats: 8 tackles, forced fumble, sack
Edwards-Helaire may have been a bit of a surprise to me this week, but his former LSU teammate isn’t. Patrick Queen was a monster tackler moving from sideline to sideline in college, and he didn’t miss a beat stepping up to the pro game. He’s a hard hitter that will divert running backs as well as tight ends in the flat and can finish confidently as a solo tackler. In his professional debut, he played 53 snaps, or roughly three-quarters of the Ravens defensive plays and accounted for eight combined tackles to lead the team. Add in a sack and a forced fumble and you’ve got a heck of a debut for a dude I’ve predicted will become the next great Raven defender.
